Zoe was sitting in her room talking on the phone to her brother." Wow really grandma let you do that. well she must be having a blast now. Remember I love you and I will be coming home soon.
Hey Mikey I have to run I am actually meeting up with some girls at the spa for a girls day. " Zoe hung up the phone checked the clock to see she was already late. Zoe grabbed her purse throwing on her shoes and headed for the door locking it behind her.
Zoe drove her jeep up the street to the salon and spa. Zoe parked shutting off the engine looking around for her friends. Not seeing any she headed up to the entrance making sure they were open. Zoe headed inside thinking they were inside. "Hello I am here looking for my friends we were supposed to come and have a spa and Salon day just us girls."
The women in the Spa and salon smiled and asked if her name was Zoe. Zoe nodded and smiled"Yes I am Zoe and I called." The woman smiled and told Zoe to take a seat while waiting for her friends. Zoe smiled"Thank you that would be great."

If you asked Jack why she was going, she wouldn't really be able to tell the truth. She hardly recalled ever having agreed to going on this girl trip to the beauty parlor. And yes, she knew that it wasn't really such a thing, but in her mind it was the closest description of what she was getting herself into. A beauty parlor. For beautying up. Not really Jack's cup of tea, so why was she on her way there just now? The explanation lay a few months prior to that very day.
Zoe had asked her back then if she wanted to go. She'd felt cornered, in a good way of course, but not really been up for it. The look on Zoe's face had, however, made her sort of say that she'd sort of go the next time. You know, one of those things you say to cheer someone up. Well, who'd have thought Zoe remembered a thing like that? Jack didn't. Maybe Zoe didn't either. Maybe she'd just asked to be polite? Yeah, there was always that option. Jack had of course just assumed right away that Zoe had been keeping that "I'll go next time" comment in mind for ages now, but really, it was quite foolish of her to think so, wasn't it? Still, the idea brought a smile to her face and a friendly, warm spark to her eyes.
Reason or none, Jack was on her way to the spa. She would probably never agree to saying she was a bit excited, but truth is that she was. She had even dressed for the occasion. Instead of her usual pants, she'd chosen to wear a dress. Sure, it was black which wasn't the most feminine colour, but she'd spiced it up with a pair of turquoise shoes, flats of course, and a turquoise scarf. She'd been rather surprised at how comfortable she'd actually felt in the clothes.
Furthermore, to pay her respects to the girls' day out, she'd grabbed a cab there. Nothing would be more misplaced than her arriving on her skateboard or the mountain bike. No, surely arriving in a cab was a decent thing to do. And as she got there, she handed the driver the money and got out. She looked around, spotting no one, thus shutting the car door behind her before she left for the entrance to the salon.
As she walked in, her eyes looked around once more. Probably to see if anyone familiar was in sight, since she did not really know exactly if she was early or late. She was delighted to find Zoe sitting in the hall, though, taking it as a good sign.
"Hi," she said and dismissed the idea of speaking to the woman at the counter, seeing as Zoe was more comfortable company, plus of course the one who had pulled this thing together. Surely, Zoe was the one to stick to. She hardly knew who would show up besides the two of them anyway.
"I hope you haven't been waiting for too long?" she said, sitting down next to Zoe with a slight smile. She looked, at the same time, complete at ease and still somewhat puzzled.

Morgan bravely opened the door to the spa and walked up the receptionist. He was wearing his usual suit and tie, to formal for the occasion, ensamble.
"Yes, I'm Mr.Queller, I have a massage and hair appointment." He said, unashamed. As far as he was concerned it didn't matter who may have known he came here, they did good work and helped him look his best. However, he when he turned to take a seat to wait he froze for a few seconds, seeing Zoe and Jack there.
"Uh...um, Hi." He stammered out. Morgan hadn't expected to meet anyone from the school here, he hadn't for weeks. To suddenly see two of them threw him off. "So...uh..." he yammered on, taking a seat opposite of the two, "What are you two doing here?"
His eyes darted around the room for a little bit as he wrung his hands. For some reason being seen here, by one of his closer friends, and somebody that he kinda knew, just made him feel a little insecure with himself. Although Jack probably wouldn't analyze him like that but with Zoe he didn't know.
